I have always heard the saying: “God works in mysterious ways,” but I didn’t truly come to know what it meant until recently. Our God is a mystery and He does work in mysterious ways.

God is FULL of surprises.

God keeps surprising me by working through people I didn’t expect. He keeps reminding me that He has GOT THIS. And the peace I have about fundraising and everything else to come is honestly so amazing, I can’t really put it into words.

God provides the most fulfilling PEACE.

A good friend who is on her YWAM Outreach as I write this once told me, “Ashley, God is SO much bigger than finances.” And I’m realizing how true that really is!

Now to call out the accountant in me, lets put some numbers to God’s great provision so far!! I sent out my first support letters on October 15th and today is December 31st, so in just 2 and a half months, my support raised is:

$5,330!!!!!!!!!!!!

That’s 41% funded!!!!!!!!!

God is incredible!!!!!!!!!

I have sent or delivered around 155 support letters and still have around 100 more to be sent or delivered! Although support letters have been my main means of fundraising, God has provided in other ways. These other ways include a GoFundMe page, babysitting, and selling items at a craft fair!

It is so neat how God can use our individual gifts and talents for His glory! The craft fair was so much fun and I got to tap into my crafty side and so did others! I get my craftiness from my mom, who was such a huge help. We had so much fun crafting and spending more time together.

But my mom and I weren’t the only ones God called to help at the fair. Thank you to everyone who made items or helped out!! It is so appreciated!!!

On the day of the fair, it was very snowy and cold, but I wasn’t worried. I was just excited to chat with people about YWAM! God poured out His blessings, and the craft fair raised $450 to go towards my fundraising!!!! God is so COOL!
