Hello! My name is Ashley and I grew up as a country kid in a farming and ranching family. I love to be outdoors, go hiking, hammock, ride horse, play with my dogs, read books, hang out with my family and friends, and I just plain love to have fun and laugh! As a kid growing up on a ranch, I wanted to follow in my dad’s footsteps and become a veterinarian. I realized later that accounting was more appealing (And yes I do think accounting jokes are funny!). I went off to college at Black Hills State University and graduated with a degree in Professional Accountancy in May 2019. After college, God led me to YWAM in New Zealand to train as a missionary and grow deeper in my relationship with Him!
If I could sum up who I am in five bullet points:
- I LOVE Jesus SO much! He is my best friend.
- I love to laugh! I laugh at puns, good jokes, bad jokes, my own jokes, at myself when I trip or say something embarrassing, and just to have fun. Laughter is the best medicine!
- I love to travel.
- Dogs are better than cats. I will always have weiner dogs in my life.
- I love every single person God has put in my life; my heart is so full!
