Such A Time As This

Wow. I have lived in New Zealand now for 7 weeks. There are 5 weeks left of lectures and then off to outreach! And YES I have found out my outreach locations!! (Woohoo!!) My team of 9 will be going to Papua New Guinea and Southeast Asia!!!! We will be leaving New Zealand on September 30 and will spend about 5 weeks in each place. I’m super excited about outreach and God put the perfect team together for the work He is calling us to do! I know big things will happen!

There have been many great topics that have been taught on so far! The topics so far have been: hearing God’s voice, character & nature of God, relationships, Holy Spirit & spiritual warfare, Father heart of God, and Lordship of Christ. This week we are talking about our identity in Christ! Each week goes deeper than the last and the Father sure has a way of peeling back the layers of my heart (but in a gentle and kind way!) and replacing the lies I’ve believed for so long with His truth.

It’s hard to put what I’ve been learning about God into just a few words because each day I learn SO much, but I will tell you what I have been learning at the moment. One thing I know for sure though: I could spend my whole life learning and growing and falling more in love with God and I still wouldn’t be done! Our God is THAT big! Gosh, it’s so dang cool how big our God is yet He knows each of us so personally. And as I come to know Him more personally, I get to know who He has made me to be.

He has made me to be a bold & courageous & gentle & kind & loving warrior woman for His kingdom!

Such a time as this to be bold & courageous & gentle & kind & loving! Such a time as this!!

A major thing that has had a huge impact on me is this:

God has already given me my true identity!

My identity has gotten covered up over the years with lies I’ve been told by the enemy and believed. I’ve believed my whole life I was made to be shy, timid, and unworthy to be known fully. But through growing closer to God, those lies have been ripped away and replaced with His truth! And His truth is that I am BOLD & WORTHY to be known fully & my voice DOES matter because I do have important things to say!

Y’all God is so GOOD.

He has showed me His faithfulness & kindness & gentleness & power & LOVE time and time and time again! The more I learn about God, the more I love Him and want to praise Him and walk in obedience with Him!

He is so worthy to be praised!!!!

Such a time as this to worship & praise Him!

AHHH!! I just love talking about my Father because He is just the BEST EVER!!! I’m excited to continue to get to know Him.

I am getting adjusted to Kiwi culture and Queenstown is beginning to feel like my home away from home! I have an amazing roommate who is like my little sister and I love her dearly! All of the girls and guys here are awesome and it’s so fun to see how we all grow in such different ways.

It’s still winter here but should start warming up soon into spring! I’m excited for warmer weather because I feel like I’ve been in winter for a long time…lol. But I love it here. The mountains are so beautiful!
